Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 October 2026
This explains what personal data HigherLow collects, why, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect what's needed to run your journal, we don't sell your data, and you can download or delete everything yourself.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email and basic profile from Google.
- Your journal: the trades, notes, feelings, reviews, chart screenshots, prop accounts and settings (such as account size, risk rules and time zone) that you enter.
- Technical: small cookies that keep you signed in and remember your choices (mode, view, time zone), and basic server logs our hosting provider keeps for security.
We don't use advertising trackers and we don't sell or rent your data.
Why we use it
- To provide HigherLow: store your journal, calculate your statistics and show reminders (performance of our agreement with you).
- To keep the service secure and working (our legitimate interest).
- To send emails you need, like sign-up confirmation and password resets.
Who processes it
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in the EU (Ireland).
- Vercel: hosting of the website, in the EU (Dublin).
- Google: only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Live prices and funding rates come from public exchange data. Only the pair you look up (for example BTC/USDT) is requested, never your personal data.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. When you delete your account in Settings, your trades, screenshots, reviews, prop accounts and account are deleted straight away. Copies may stay in our providers' backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
Your rights
- Download all your data: Settings → Your data → Download my data.
- Delete your account and data: Settings → Delete account.
- Correct your data: edit it in the app, or ask us.
- Ask what data we hold about you, or object to how we use it: email info@higherlow.app.
- If you're in the EU, you can also complain to your national data protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy in an important way, we'll tell you in the app or by email before it applies.
